I am a bay area artist from Germany who has exhibited internationally and received her MFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts. I create mixed media installations related to the body. Jacquelyn Summel’s artwork is a reflection of her sense of humor, sensitivity, and willingness (perhaps desire) to make an ass of herself. She was born in Long Island, NY, and still has a gold ring with her name on it to prove it. She’s persuing her MFA at Stanford Univeristy.
Calvin Trillin is a writer for The Nation, and the New Yorker amongst others. He is a poet, a food critic, and author of multiple books. Look him up on Google.
